An IoT device that can capture images of the person when Vehicles specific gate opens or the luggage cabin of Bus opens. The whole intention of the project was to capture the images of people and log them in the backend dashboard to visualize who has tried to open the vehicle-specific compartment during the vehicle route. To avoid goods theft this solution was needed in the UAE region.
The client was from UAE and wanted this solution to sell in that market using his current telematics network. The client came with a simple problem statement “How can we trace someone who has opened the Vehicle Gate / Luggage Compartment”. After looking at the problems we provided this solution by modifying our Standard Custom GSM/GPS solution.

He wanted the real-time tracking solution which can give him real-time location updates every 10 minutes location updates, unscheduled stoppage alerts, anti-theft alarms for someone removing the device forcefully, Vehicle Speed, Trip Start Time, Trip End Time, Vehicle Idle Time.
The challenging part is to keep track of vehicle location and send the updated location every 5min to the dashboard without consuming too much battery. And also the client wanted feed recording for some particular time which took some firmware changes and the result was satisfying.
